The Lynwood High School Boys Basketball team played against Pacifica Christian on March 7 at the Knights Castle. The stands were packed and we appreciated seeing the support from the Lynwood community.
The game was very tough and competitive. The strategies that our coaches implemented ultimately played off. During the half-time show, we saw performances from the LHS Dance Team.
Throughout the game, our Band and Cheer Team led the crowd in various chants to support our boys. Our boys came together in the second half and took down Pacifica Christian (87-65) and officially became the CIF Regional Champs. We are so proud of our Boys Basketball and all the records they have broken this year.
They advanced to the CIF State Championship and will play against Sierra High School on Friday in Sacramento. The championship game will be televised live via Spectrum SportsNet at 12 p.m. Friday, March 10.
