Wellness & Tutoring

Supporting the whole student is at the heart of everything we do at Lynwood High. Whether you need help managing stress, staying on top of academics, or connecting with others, we offer spaces and programs that keep students healthy, focused, and thriving.

Wellbeing Center

Located in Room E-100 | Open Mondays & Thursdays, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
The Wellbeing Center is a safe, welcoming space where students can access resources for mental health, substance use prevention, and overall wellness. Whether you're looking to talk to a trusted adult, explore leadership opportunities, or simply unwind with music and coloring, the WBC is here for you. All students are welcome!

Educare

Located in Room E-108
Educare provides academic support during the school day and hosts Study Hall tutoring after school. Students can also participate in fun, student-led clubs like fashion and cosmetology, attend field trips, and even join team conditioning activities through sports partnerships.
Stop by for help—and maybe even a snack to keep you going!

Questions? Visit Ms. O’Neal, Site Coordinator, in Room E-108.

The Movement

Located in Room B-117 (After School)
Led by trained Peer Advisors, The Movement offers tutoring with a social-emotional lens. These peer mentors are in your classes during the day and available after school to help with academics while also supporting your mental wellness. It’s support from students who understand what you're going through.

Lynwood High is here to make sure you feel supported — in class, after school, and beyond.
