Student Behavior Expectations

Strive for Excellence. Lead with Purpose. Be a Lynwood Knight.

At Lynwood High School, we believe that every student has the potential to succeed—academically, socially, and personally. Our expectations are designed to support your journey and help you make the most of your high school experience. By committing to these expectations, you’ll be setting yourself up for success in school and beyond.

As a Lynwood High School student, you are expected to:

  1. Earn a grade of C or higher in all courses

  2. Attend all classes and be on time every day

  3. Take at least one AP course during high school

  4. Participate in at least one extracurricular activity
(sports, band, dance, clubs, or special programs when available)

  5. Meet with your counselor to create and review your 4-year graduation plan

  6. Ask for help when needed
    (tutoring, academic support, counseling, etc.)

  7. Practice the Three R’s:

    • Respect all peers and adults on campus

    • Report any threats, bullying, or inappropriate behavior (including on social media)

    • Be Responsible for your actions, materials, and behavior

By following these expectations, you're not just preparing for graduation — you're preparing for life. Let’s make every moment count.
