Mr. Martinez is a proud graduate of UCLA and USC and is currently pursuing his doctorate in education. His career in education has included roles as both an educator and school leader, with a passion for creating meaningful opportunities for students to develop their confidence, leadership, and sense of belonging.
As the Activities Director at Lynwood High School, Mr. Martinez works alongside students and staff to support ASB, student activities, clubs, events, school traditions, and campus life. He believes some of the most meaningful learning happens when students are given opportunities to lead, create, collaborate, and turn their ideas into something real. His goal is to help build a school culture where every Knight feels that they belong and has opportunities to make an impact on their school community.
Mr. Martinez is especially passionate about student leadership, innovation, technology, and preparing students for life beyond high school. Whether helping students develop a new event, solve a problem, launch an idea, or simply find their place on campus, he strives to make Lynwood High School a place students are proud to call their own.
Outside of school, Mr. Martinez is a huge fan of Disney and competes in trading card games, like Magic the Gathering and Lorcana. He enjoys technology, traveling, video games, music, staying active, and finding new creative projects to take on. He is a huge Lakers and Dodgers fan and loves spending time with his wife and his dog, Ellie.uilding.
