Advanced Placement (AP)
Gold-Level Recognition. College-Level Learning. Knight-Level Excellence.
Lynwood High School is proud to offer a robust Advanced Placement (AP) program that challenges students, opens doors to college success, and exemplifies our belief that all students can and do achieve at the highest levels.
What is AP – and Why Does It Matter?
Advanced Placement (AP) courses at Lynwood High School offer students the chance to take college-level classes, earn college credit, and build the skills needed for success in higher education and beyond.
Students who take AP courses are more likely to attend college, graduate on time, and thrive academically. By scoring a 3 or higher on the AP Exam, students can even save time and money by earning college credit early.
